SURPRISE YOUR PARTNER

Some of the most romantic things you can do for your partner are quite simple and very cheap.  Because, as with Christmas, it’s all about the thought, especially when not expected.  Here is a few ideas;

• breakfast in bed
• dinner and dancing, or dinner and movie
• give your partner a shoulder massage whilst they are on the computer
• guys, surprise your partner by offering them the tv remote
• surprise comments, like ‘I love us’, ‘you complete me’, or ‘never a day goes past that I don’t tell myself how lucky I am to have you.’  (these might be a bit corny but the more you do it, the more you will both appreciate it
• If your partners favourite sports team is playing in town, get tickets
• when they aren’t looking, put a love letter in their pocket
• surprise your mate with twenty six gifts from a-z
• write love letters
• write your love letter using kiddie stickers that say things like ‘terrific’ or ‘top notch’
• write a love letter and put it in a glass bottle. Place the bottle somewhere where you partner will find it
• buy your partner a letter opener. Then over 4 days give them 4 letters. The first is for a dinner date.  The 2^nd has a tape or written love songs.  3^rd has movie tickets. 4^th has a letter saying I love you
• just after your partner leaves for work, send them an email to work, saying 'I love you, and I am already missing you'.
• whatever you do, just keep surprising your partner

A Fish named Jealousy
Once, I let my jealousy get the best of me and I came down on my sweetheart quite harshly. I know I hurt him and I wanted to find a way to let him know that I was not going to let jealousy ruin our relationship. So the following day, I went to a pet store and bought the reddest and angry-looking goldfish in the tank. I put it in a vase and fed it. I took a picture of it with my cell phone and texted it to my sweetie with this message, "This is my new fish, he was swimming around inside of me, and you heard him the other day. You might know him as Jealousy. Don't worry, he's out now, and as long as I feed him, there will be no more need to worry about him eating away at me again." I also let him know that my jealousy was all gone. We've been together for a year and one month tomorrow!

Act Like A Kid Again
It is fun to act like a kid again, you and your mate can go for a walk to the park after dark, or go to an indoor amusement park and have a blast.

Affectionate Time-Outs
When my fiancé and I are having a difficult discussion or argument, one of us (usually him) will call a time-out. At that point we will stop arguing, and just touch each other. Usually he will touch his nose to mine. This will be a reminder that no matter what happens, and no matter how upset we seem with each other--we are still a team, and we love each other very much.

Appreciation

Every day, I wait until he gets home to make dinner because he likes to help me, and everyday, he tries to kick me out of the kitchen, telling me to put my feet up because I must be tired, and he's got everything under control. He's the one that's tired! But he doesn't care. He takes care of me. There isn't a morning or night that goes by that he doesn't tell me how absolutely beautiful I am. There isn't one hour that goes by that he doesn't tell me how much he loves me. Why does he do it? How did I find the perfect husband? Well, all I can say is that I found him by the grace of God, and he does it because I appreciate him. Men need to know, above all other things, that what they're doing is not only noticed, but appreciated, valued, and supported. The next time you find yourself lying in bed lying on his shoulder, STOP. Get up, prop yourself up, and let him lay on yours. Then lean down and whisper into his ear how much you value everything he does for you. Remind him that you are there for him no matter what, and that you will love him come hell or high water. My husband gives a sigh of relief every time. Men need to know they are appreciated. You'd be surprised what a difference it makes.

Be Subtle!
I just read all of the Token of Love ideas. I think the most romantic thing would be to print some of them out and then put them in places where your partner will see them. It works well for people that are a little shy, or mates that can't take a hint!

Beating Hearts Welcome
Last year for Valentine’s Day, we were short on cash, so I didn’t really expect anything. While I went to the store, my boyfriend hopped on the roof with two sets of lights (1 red, 1 white - 5$ Wal-mart) and laid them on the roof in the shape of two hearts that interlocked. He had just plugged them in and was making final adjustments when I came around the corner. It was so beautiful to see two beating hearts over our home!! We sat on the sidewalk and ate Jack-in-the-Box burgers! Now, not only me, but the entire neighborhood saw he really loves me!

Cards for all seasons
I have been sending my husband a greeting card every week from the first week we made a commitment to each other and that's been 10 years and he just loves it. try it, he/she might like it

Clue Hunts
I take index cards, and write clues on each one and hide them somewhere in the house. My husband finds the first one and reads the clue, and this gives him hints to find the next clue. This can go one for a rew minutes or through out the day. And the final card always leads to a special "treat" only if he figures out all the clues. The treat can be a simple kiss, or an I love you, or you can use your imagination. This is also a good way to find out how well you know each other.

Don't ever stop dating!
My boyfriend and I hadn't been on a real date in a long while. So I took matters into my own hands. I called him and asked if he would reserve his entire night for me. He agreed. I took him to a new restaurant in town for dinner and drinks. While there, I told the waiters it was his birthday and they sung to him as his face reddened, (his birthday was a month away, but we both appreciate harmless jokes). From there, we went down town to a couple of Clubs. I then took him to a nice Hotel where I made him comfortable, lit candles, slipped into lingerie, drew a bubble bath while soft music played and from there we began our long journey into the night and morning. TIP: Don't ever stop dating, even after you're married..

Love Letters Game

Adam & Eve were both working this day.  Eve got home early and decided to organise a romantic dinner.  She rang the local bakery, florist, his favourite department store, and restaurant.  Adam got home and saw a note telling him to meet eve at the bakery at 7pm.  Upon arrival at the bakery he was handed a chocolate cake along with another note.  Go to the florist.  He picked up his flowers and another note for the department store.  Upon arrival was given a pre-wrapped gift and a note telling him to meet eve at his favourite restaurant.  At the restaurant Eve was waiting with a beautiful candle lit dinner.  You can guess how the rest of the evening went..

Fly Away
On a short car journey Adam asked eve to get a jacket for him out of the trunk.  Upon opening the trunk, several dozen red balloons flew up into the sky.  Under the balloons was a small gift (jewelry) with a short love poem.

For Gift Ideas - Just Listen
One day during one of our many conversations I heard Eve tell me about a big fuzzy doll she had when she was little girl.  She said how sad she was when her mum had thrown the doll out.  A month later, when Adam was just coming round for a normal dinner, he rang the doorbell. When I answered, he was holding out a huge - and I mean huge - fuzzy doll just like the one I had had as a child. Adam managed to find one on eBay. I knew right then that I loved him. So listen to each other - pick up the clues and act on them

For One So Pretty

Buy 11 white tulips and 1 red roses.  Send them to your partner with the following note:

‘in every group there is one so pretty, that they stand out from the crowd’

Have Lunch On Me
If you regularly make lunch for your partner, try this instead.  Print out an invitation card on the computer.  On the front have the words ‘just because I love you’ and on the inside have the words ‘have lunch on me today, and later tonight have me for desert’.  Inside the card put in a $10 gift card for your partners favourite café nearby.  Put the card inside his briefcase or tape it to the steering wheel of his car.

Romantic Word Scrabble
Play the game as usual, but you may only use words that relate to love, sex, romance and relationships. If your partner questions you about the "romanticness" of the word you used, prove the romantic value by using it in a sentence...or even better, a physical demonstration.

Strip Poker
Okay, it’s an oldy but definitely a goody. Make it more interesting by making the chips worth kisses, romantic treats, and more when they're cashed in.

Chess
Every time you take over a partner's piece you are entitled to five minutes of a romantic "treat" of your choice. Whoever ultimately wins the game is entitled to special two hour romantic treat of their choice to be redeemed within seven days.

Monopoly
Play the game as usual, but instead of paying your debts with plastic money, substitute with personal pleasure. For example, if you land on Boardwalk with all the hotels, you'll need to pleasure your partner for twenty minutes. Winner gets a special romantic treat of their choice to be picked within seven days.

Fantasy Trivial Pursuit
Play the game as though it were normal Trivial Pursuit by collecting the pieces to the pie. Before the game begins, write three of your wildest fantasies on paper then put your papers in a pile with your partners. For every wrong answer, remove an article of clothing. Every time you miss the answer to a pie question, your partner asks you to perform something of their choice for 30 seconds. Then back to the game. If you can last the length of the game, the winner receives whatever is drawn by the loser from the winners pile.

Game of Love Cards
Take a deck of 52 cards. Assign each card a thing to do. For example, aces get a kiss. Shuffle the deck and spread the cards out. You and your honey take turns drawing cards. Whatever card says to do, your honey must do. Be creative with your ideas! Have fun!

Always Win Poker
Invite your partner to play a game of poker. Take notebook paper and rip out ten or more pieces of paper. Tell your partner to write down things they want to do or not have to do and make them neutral so that the opposing partner can use them as well. Play poker and gamble using the strips of paper as your bets. Do not look at which ones you use, just pick whatever. Play for a set time; one hour is good. We both ended up with some of each others' papers. We then kept them and were able to use the notes whenever we liked. It was great! Ideas can be anything from sexual favors, massage time, shopping time, chores, cuddle time, etc. Have fun!

Foregammon
A while back, I came up with a fun twist on the classic game of backgammon. This is a great idea if you already know how to play, but you can use it even if you're a first time player! This simple twist will really spark things with your partner and will truly take your game to the next level. Before you start the game, set the mood with some soft lighting and romantic music. Sure, you're playing a board game, but a little atmosphere never hurt anyone. You might want to have some wine nearby to add an element of class to your game. You'll also need to have a pair of "dirty dice." These dice can be found at any novelty or adult store. One die has different actions on each face and the other die has body parts. Play the game as you normally would, but if someone rolls doubles, the sexy twist begins! Break out the dirty dice and let the person who rolled doubles roll the dirty dice. The dice will dictate the "reward" for rolling doubles, and the value of the doubles dictates how long the reward lasts. Make sure you keep things interesting by changing the way you give the "reward" a little bit every time. Chances are, if you're really into it, the backgammon game won't last too long. This game has provided hours of foreplay (hence the name, Foregammon), untold anticipation, breakdown of inhibitions, insight into your partner's favorite forms of foreplay, and very intense lovemaking and sexual play (not to mention toppled game boards, ripped clothing, and spilled drinks -- but hey, its all worth it!!!). The Alphabet Game
One person starts with the letter "A" and has to kiss a body part on the other person beginning with that letter. The other person starts with "B" and so on and so on. Some of those letters get awfully tricky, but you will be amused by what your lover will think of for a letter. It's very fun, and by the time you get to "Z" (if you do) you might just want to start over again.

Kissing Othello
Suggest playing the game Othello. Halfway through, suggest making it a little more interesting. However many tokens they flip over, they get to kiss you that many times whereever they wish. I don't think we have ever finished that game!

A Love Puzzle
Buy a puzzle (about 100 pieces) and assemble it. Turn it over and write a romantic message on the back. Take it apart. Have a candlelight dinner and present it to your partner. Let them know that there is a message waiting for them on the back.

Loveopoly
Change the game of Monopoly. Change boardwalk into back rub, and Tennessee into take your shirt off. Every time you pass go, you get a kiss. etc.

Monopoly Money
Here’s a sexy twist on a classic board game! Before you start, make a list of sexual acts that you both enjoy, and assign a monetary value to each one. Then play a normal game of Monopoly. At the end, each of you take the money you’ve won and take the rest of the night to spend it all!!


Sexy Truth or Dare Jenga
Take a regular Jenga game and write sexy truth or dare comments on each piece. Whichever piece your lover picks, they have to do or tell what is written on the block. Add in a “WILD” block and you’ll have tons of fun!
